In January-February, Georgia’s external trade turnover up by 12.3 %

In January-February 2023, the external trade turnover with goods in Georgia (without undeclared trade) was $2,898.1 million, which is 12.3 percent higher than the corresponding indicator of the previous year.
From this, export revenues amounted to $914.7 mln (increased by 20.3 percent), while import revenues - to 1 983.3 mln (increased by 9.0 percent). The trade deficit in January-February 2023 amounted to $1,068.6 million, which is 36.9 percent of the external trade turnover.
According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), detailed data on foreign trade of Georgia will be published on March 20, 2023.
