Together with the head of the Mountain Trails Agency, Irakli Burchuladze, Mariam Kvrivishvili inspected two artificial lake reservoirs and snowmaking systems on Didveli and Mitarbi. It should be noted that the artificial lake reservoirs will carry a total of 300 million liters of water and will provide continuous water supply to the snowmaking system.

As part of the World Championship project, new cable cars, artificial snowmaking systems, artificial water reservoirs and six new competition trails were built in Bakuriani, and special safety equipment was purchased. Accordingly, about GEL 300 million was invested.

The Freestyle Ski and Snowboard World Championship will be held in Bakuriani in 2023 under the auspices of the International Ski Federation (FIS). The championship is organized with the support of the Government of Georgia, the Mountain Trails Agency and the Ski Federation of Georgia, and is presented by the company "Silknet".
