According to the statistical data of 8 months of 2022, the dynamics of restoration of tourist visits has increased significantly. In August, 582,995 international tourist visits took place in Georgia, the recovery increase rate was 135.8% compared to the same period of 2021. Compared to the same period of 2019, the recovery rate of international tourist visits was 77.4%.
In the period of January-August 2022, 3,256,370 international travelers visited Georgia; compared to the same period of 2021, the recovery increase rate was 208.9%. Compared to the data of 8 months of 2019, the recovery rate of international travelers' visits was 51.5%.
