Nikoloz Antidze hosted the President of Georgia at the dam, where he said that 20,000 visitors had already arrived at Enguri HPP since May, but it needed to be promoted as a tourist destination.

“The duration of the tourist route of the Enguri Hydro Power Plant's arch dam is two hours, and visitors have the opportunity to see the dam bridge, a circular shield building, a tunnel, a reservoir shield section and other interesting places. The visit of the President of Georgia to the Enguri Hydro Power Plant's arch dam is significant. It will once again promote the dam as an industrial heritage.

It is also important that during this visit, we see not only the dam and its surrounding area, but also the important places of the Enguri Hydro Power Plant such as, for example, the aqueduct, one of the huge and large concrete bridges. 

According to the decree of the Government of Georgia, a big project is being implemented, which has its own stages and needs time, but the most important thing is that the Enguri Hydro Power Plant's arch dam has already been opened for visitors this year and we have already had 20,000 tourists since May," - Nikoloz Antidze said.
