In 2023, 62% of the plots of land purchased by foreign citizens in Georgia will belong to Russian citizens.
According to the document, in the first quarter of 2023, citizens of foreign countries registered 2,038 plots of non-agricultural land, of which 1,256 are owned by 447 citizens of Russia.
As for 2022, last year 1241 citizens of Russia registered 2,702 plots of land in Georgia, 73 citizens of Armenia - 248, 64 citizens of Ukraine - 118, and 60 citizens of Greece - 133 - last year.
