
In 2023, Georgia's tourism revenues will equal 4.2 billion USD (+19.0% y/y), and 4.5 billion USD (+7.0% y/y) in 2024, according to the Galt&Taggart review.
"According to our estimation, in November 2023, revenues from tourism equaled $274 million (+20.9% y/y excluding the effect of migration). In total, tourism revenues in January-November 2023 amounted to $3.9 billion (+22.4% y/y). According to our forecast, tourism inflows will equal $4.2 billion (+19.0% y/y) in 2023, and $4.5 billion (+7.0% y/y) in 2024,” the review states.
As the Tourism Administration of Georgia declared in the I-III quarter of 2023, revenues from travel (tourism) exceeded the 2019 figure and a record figure was recorded - $3,251,651,900, which is 25.9% higher than the figure ($668,812,328) recorded in the same period of 2019. Compared to 2022, travel revenues have increased by $734,468,385 (+29.2%).
