In 2023, 2,067 tons of packaged medicinal products were exported from Georgia, which is 247 tons more than the data of 2022.

In monetary terms, export revenues amounted to 126.5 million USD in 2023, and 109.5 million USD - in 2022. Medicines account for 2.1% of the total export.

As for imports, last year the country imported 13,301 tons of medicinal products from foreign markets (3.5% of all imports), which is 733 tons more than the data of the previous year. In monetary terms, import price amounted to 543.1 million, and in 2022 this figure was $404.1 million.
