"In 2023, there were 4.6 million tourist visits were made to Georgia, which is almost a 100% recovery compared to 2019, and this is encouraging,'' - the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Levan Davitashvili said.

"We had a 26% economic growth compared to the same record data of 2019. Revenues received from the tourism sector amounted to $4.1 billion - this was a very high figure. Also, more than 7 million international visits were made to Georgia, and what is most remarkable, this is approximately more than 70% compared to the previous data," - Davitashvili said.
