In 2022, 1556.3 thousand passengers were transported by local traffic, which is 97.0 percent of the total number of passengers transported by the Georgian Railway and is 94.5 percent higher than the corresponding figure of last year.
48.5 thousand passengers were transferred to the international traffic mode, which is 3 times higher than the corresponding indicator of last year. 63.0% of the passengers transported in the international traffic mode entered from Armenia, and 37.0% left for Armenia (in 2022, no passengers were transported in the direction of Azerbaijan).
