According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), during the last year, the value of flower imports was 34.3% higher than in 2021, and the volume increased by 36.9%. It should be noted that in the last 10 years, in 2023 the largest number of flowers were imported into Georgia.

According to last year's data, flowers were imported into Georgia from 13 countries, and the top trading partner was Armenia. The ranking of TOP-5 trading partners by imports according to the value of goods is as follows:
1. Armenia - $1.2 million, 432 tons;
2. Ecuador - $584 thousand, 198 tons;
3. The Netherlands - $495 thousand, 39 tons;
4. Turkey - $379 thousand, 443 tons;
5. Kenya - $231 thousand, 73 tons.
As for the rest of the countries, small quantities of flowers were imported from India, Azerbaijan, Iran, Colombia, Ethiopia, China, the United Kingdom and a small amount from Russia.
