In 2022, export of cars from Georgia to Russia increased by 338%

According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), in 2022, the export value of light vehicles from Georgia to Russia amounted to $75.6 million, which is 338.1% more than the figure of 2021 - $17.3 million.
The export growth rate is even higher compared to the pre-pandemic rate of 2019 and amounts to 840.5%.
As for the quantity of the goods exported, 5,395 light vehicles were exported from the country last year; this figure is 117.3% more than the 2021 data (2,483 light vehicles).
