
“In the January-November period, the import of motor oils and aviation kerosene into Georgia increased,” - the Union of Oil Products Importers of Georgia reports.
In particular, during the months of January-November 2022, the import of lubricants into Georgia amounted to 19.61 thousand tons, which is 2.49 thousand tons or 14.5% (17.12 thousand tons) more compared to the indicator of the same period of the previous year.
"During 11 months of the current year, the largest volume (4.02 thousand tons) of lubricants was imported from Turkey, which is 20.5% of all imports. Turkey is followed by Iran - 3.62 thousand tons (18.5%) Germany - 2.09 thousand tons (10.7%), Russia - 2.01 thousand tons (10.2%), etc.
During the months of January-November 2022, the import of aviation oil amounted to 116.1 thousand tons, which is 30.3 thousand tons or 35.3% (85.8 thousand tons) more compared to the indicator of the same period of 2021.
Within 11 months of the current year, 53.6% (62.2 thousand tons) of aviation oil imports were made from Turkmenistan, 24.7% (28.7 thousand tons) - from Greece, 15.3% (17.8 thousand tons) - from Turkey, 4.1% (4.8 thousand tons) - from Egypt, 2.2% (2.6 thousand tons) - from Azerbaijan", - the Union of Oil Products Importers of Georgia stated.
