
In January 2023, compared to the same period of 2022, imports from Belarus into Georgia doubled.
According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), Belarusian products worth 9,257 million US dollars were imported into the country in one month, compared to 4,727 million US dollars in the same period of the previous year.
As for the export from Georgia, it has decreased. In particular, in January 2023, products worth 2,535 million US dollars were exported from the country to Belarus, in the same period of 2022 – worth 4,642 million US dollars.
