According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), as per the data of January-May 2024, the value of packaged medicinal products imported from Turkey into Georgia amounted to 83 million 536 thousand US dollars, which is 2 168.9 tons. While last year, in the same period, medicinal products worth 54,891.7 USD and 859.4 tons of packaged medicinal products entered Georgia from Turkey.

Georgia's top trading partners by imports is Turkey. In addition, among the groups of goods imported from Turkey, packaged medicinal products rank 1st. 

To be informed, according to the data of January-May 2024, packaged medicinal products worth 45 million 800 thousand US dollars were exported from Georgia to foreign countries, which exceeds the data of the same period of the previous year by 10.4%.
