
Turkey is the main trade partner of Georgia. In January-November, Turkey's share in Georgia's exports is 7% (388.5 million US dollars), and 16.6% (2.3 billion US dollars) in imports.
It should be noted that compared to the same period of the previous year, the import volume of medicinal and detergents from Turkey to Georgia has doubled, and the export volume of ferroalloys has almost halved.
The largest export products of Georgia, which pass through Turkey, are as follows:
Electricity - $94 million;
Knitted goods - $52.8 million;
Knitted suits and sets for men - $32 million;
Ferroalloys - $30.7 million.
Aluminum waste and scrap – $11 million.
The largest import products that Georgia imports from Turkey, are as follows:
Medicinal products packaged - $136 million;
Light vehicles - $78.9 million
Metal constructions of ferrous metals and their parts - $56 million;
Cigars, cigarillos and cigarettes made of tobacco or its substitutes - $53 million;
Washing and cleaning products - $43.6 million.
