Import of electricity increased by 48% annually

As the Georgian Energy Exchange (GENEX) reported, the total production of electricity in October was 1,033 GW/h., which is 13.4% less than the figure recorded in the same period of the previous year.
Out of this, the output of thermal power plants amounted to 153.8 GW/h. The output of hydroelectric power plants was 872.1 GW/h, while wind power plants produced 8 GWh.
In September, electricity import amounted to 437.2 GW/h, and this data have increased by 47.7% compared to the figure recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.
