The United States has constantly protected universal human rights and fundamental freedoms, promoted development and progress, supported the rule of law, thus leaving its mark in the world history.

Georgia, the Georgian people, as a proud and freedom-loving nation, share the same values and principles of freedom and democracy, which determine our strong friendship. In these challenging times, our close partnership and unity are of utmost importance to safeguard peace and stability not only in our region, but globally. Georgia stands firmly with the United States, as well as with our respected international partners, because together we protect the fundamental norms and values that are the basis of the international community," the Prime Minister stressed.
