Hungary backs Georgia's EU integration - Hungarian State Secretary

The Hungarian State Secretary at the Ministry of EU Affairs, Pál Barna Zsigmond said Hungary backs Georgia’s EU integration and its EU candidate country status.
Following the meeting with Georgian Dream Chair, Irakli Kobakhidze, he stated that “Hungary was and will always be Georgia’s supporter.”
“The enlargement process should not be a political decision. Given that Georgia meets the conditions, we expect the decision in December will result in candidate status. The issue of Ukraine is a separate process,” - Pál Barna Zsigmond stated.
