According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), in 2022, Georgia purchased 2,500 tons of wheat worth $978.8 thousand in Ukraine, which was not even 2% of the total wheat imports. In 2022, 184,063 tons of wheat worth $64,785 million were imported to the country, and the main importer was Russia, where last year Georgia bought 174,132 tons of wheat worth $61,640 million.
