“The hotel price index in Georgia increased by 1.4% in August 2022 compared to July 2022, including the price index of 3-, 4- and 5-star hotels - by 0.9%, and the prices of family-type hotels - by 1.5%,” -the study published by pmcg says.
According to the study, in August 2022, compared to the same period of 2021, the price index of hotels increased by 15.8%, including the price index of 3-, 4- and 5-star hotels by 11.4%, and the prices of family-type hotels - by 36.3%.
In August 2022, the average price of 3-star hotels in Georgia was 182 GEL, and the average price of 4-star hotels - 284 GEL. The average price of family-type hotels in August was 122 GEL. The average price of 5-star hotels in August was 510 GEL. In hotels of this type in Guria, the average price of a standard 2-bed room was 727 GEL, in Kakheti - 569 GEL, in Adjara - 547 GEL, and in Tbilisi - 538 GEL," - the study says.
