Tbilisi hosted the annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank on May 2-5. Within the framework of the annual meeting, representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Central Bank of several Asian countries, as well as executives of international financial institutions, business leaders and representatives of business circles visited Georgia.

According to the budget implementation report published by the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, the costs for hosting the mentioned event amounted to 6 million GEL. Of this, the costs of hosting the event were 5 million GEL, for which the Ministry of Finance allocated funds, and an additional 1 million GEL was spent on ensuring the venue safety at the event, and the money was allocated to the Special State Protection Service of Georgia.
