“The so-called Hong Kong flu (H3N2) has been circulating in Georgia,” - Ivane Chkhaidze, the medical director of Iashvili children’s hospital said.
“The situation is similar in European nations and the peak flu season is typically in December and January. As for the coronavirus, its share reached 9.8 %; the coronavirus has not disappeared anywhere.
It is possible that the coronavirus will become a seasonal virus like the flu. Unlike the coronavirus, the flu circulates more among children. Coronavirus is not a children’s virus,” - Ivane Chkhaidze said.
