In July 2024, compared to the same period of last year, green beans price has soared the most in Georgia. According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), the price of green beans increased by 44.26%.

In January-June of the current year, the country brought almost 675 tons of green beans worth $382,520. Turkey accounts for the largest imports share with 672.3 tons of products worth $379,000. Small volumes were also imported from Azerbaijan, Thailand, France, India, the Netherlands and the United Arab Emirates.

In 6 months of this year, the country exported 13 tons of beans worth $13,000, including to Russia (2.54 tons) and Armenia (10.94 tons).
