More than 1,300 chronic and oncological drugs will be included in the reference pricing system in the first stage, with the number of medications continuously increasing.

As of February 15, importers, wholesalers, and retailers must decide the maximum higher limit for drug prices.

The measure is intended to improve access to medications, according to the government’s statement.
