
The Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said his Government would continue supporting tourism projects, emphasizing their role in boosting employment, economic growth, and development of regions, in comments at the presentation of a new hotel and recreational complex project in the eastern town of Sioni.
"I am delighted to be here today and to attend the presentation of this exceptional project. An outstanding hotel complex is being built, and all the necessary conditions will be created for people to have the opportunity to relax”, - PM said.
The Prime Minister highlighted the growth in the sector, saying the number of hotels had tripled over the past 12 years.
He also underscored the success of the tourism sector was “integral to the country's overall success”.
