Last year, Georgia exported unwrought or semi-wrought gold to 4 countries, and its top trading partners was Switzerland (93.8%). The ranking of Georgia’s top trading partners by export is as follows:
1. Switzerland - $ 76.5 million, 2.5 tons;
2. Germany - $ 2.6 million, 0.07 tons;
3. Turkey - $ 1.2 million, 0.03 tons;
4. The United Arab Emirates - $ 1.1 million, 0.03 tons.
As for the import of unwrought gold, the rate of purchase of goods during the last year is low, amounting up to $ 12 thousand. Top trading partners by import are Russia ($5.6 thousand), Germany ($4.1 thousand), Italy ($1 thousand), France ($0.8 thousand), Turkey ($0.2 thousand).
