At the ongoing European Weightlifting Championships in Albania, Georgian athlete Goga Jajvani delivered a dominant performance in the 94 kg weight category, capturing three gold medals and setting a new European record.

Jajvani lifted 166 kg in the snatch and 197 kg in the clean and jerk, achieving a combined total of 363 kg, which secured both the top podium spot and the continental record.

In the same division, Gervasi Tabagari added to Georgia’s success by winning the silver medal in the snatch with a lift of 196 kg.

The Georgian team is competing under the leadership of Avtandil Gakhokidze.
