The Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), a globally recognized think tank, has released the Global Terrorism Index 2025.

According to the report, Georgia has improved its position by six places, ranking 100th, with a score of zero, placing it last among several countries with no impact from terrorism.

Moreover, Georgia ranks first in Europe, along with 11 other countries, in the Freedom from Terrorism Index.

The Global Terrorism Index (GTI) assigns a composite score to countries, ranking them based on the impact of terrorism. The GTI uses a scale from 0 to 10, where 0 indicates no impact from terrorism and 10 signifies the highest measurable impact.
