"The second important success and victory is the recognition of the ten-year policy of our state and our government - Global Peace Index 2022, that is, according to this year's index, Georgia ranks second in the world in terms of ten-year progress in peace. As for the whole historical improvement of the index, Georgia ranked first. This is also a serious recognition. 163 countries participated in this study and naming our country in the second place is really a recognition of the right, reasonable and national policy that our government has been carrying out for ten years to protect our people and their interests. For comparison, I would like to recall here that in 2012 our country was in the last 20 in these rankings, i.e. in 140th place among 163 countries.
