In the Central Banker Report Cards, published by Global Finance in 2022, 96 central bankers, including the EU Central Bank Governors, were rated, and only 21 Governors earned the highest rating. Along with Koba Gvenetadze, the list of the best Central Bank Governors identified by Global Finance includes the Heads of the Central Banks of Sweden, New Zealand, Brazil, China, Israel and other developed and developing countries.
The Global Finance rewarding is widely recognized in the international financial community and indicates the high reputation and successful performance of the individuals and banks awarded. The assessment of the Central Bank Governors is based on several policy directions implemented by the central bank.
