
Georgia’s Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation, Shota Getsadze, has officially presented his credentials to Swiss President Karin Keller‑Sutter, the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
The ceremony, held at the Federal Palace in Bern, was followed by a meeting between Ambassador Getsadze and President Keller‑Sutter, during which the two discussed deepening both bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
Ambassador Getsadze expressed his appreciation for Switzerland’s steadfast support of Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. He also acknowledged Switzerland’s important role as a mediator in regional conflicts.
The discussion further addressed Georgia’s strategic geopolitical position, ongoing economic initiatives, and additional areas of mutual interest aimed at strengthening future collaboration.
