German Ottobock to provide prosthetics to injured Georgian servicemembers

German orthopaedic technology company Ottobock will provide prosthetics to injured servicemembers of the Georgian Defence Forces as part of an agreement signed between the company and the Georgian Ministry of Defence.
The Ministry said it would purchase 28 units of lower limb and seven units of upper limb prosthetics for servicemembers from the company.
The announcement came as representatives from Ottobock visited the Maro Makashvili Military Servicemember Rehabilitation Centre in Tserovani settlement, near capital Tbilisi, with officials from the Ministry.
Needs of injured servicemembers and provision of prosthetic and orthopaedic means to them were discussed between the sides, the body added.
