As part of the international exhibition Green Week 2024 in Berlin, the Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia Tengiz Nasaridze met with the Minister of Agriculture of Latvia Armands Krauze. As mentioned at the meeting, Latvia is a constant supporter of Georgia on the way to the European Union. The prospects of improving trade in agro-food products between the two countries and the importance of cooperation in this regard were emphasized.

The two countries see a fruitful cooperation in terms of import and export, the partnership is growing more and more; The import of cattle from Latvia is increasing; Georgia exports wine, soft drinks and fresh water to Latvia.
