Producing of the indices is one of the activities defined by the Strategy of Official Statistics System of Georgia 2020-2023, which took place within the framework of the EU Twinning project. 

 Turnover value indices are calculated on the basis of administrative data of Revenue Services of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, while hours worked indices are calculated on the basis of the quarterly survey conducted by Geostat.

It is noteworthy that producing of the above mentioned indices are based on the international standards. In addition, experts from the Statistics Offices of Denmark and Finland were actively participating in the calculation processes.

 Submitted data are preliminary and revised data will be published on March, 2022.
