Georgia’s tourism revenues this year will exceed the 2019 figure - TBC Capital

According to the TBC Capital forecast, in 2022, tourism revenues will exceed the pre-pandemic indicator by 10% and, this year it will make up 110% of the 2019 figure.
In 9 months of 2022, Georgia received $2.5 billion in income from tourism, which is a 97.5% recovery of the 2019 figure.
Before the pandemic, Georgia received more than $3.2 billion from tourism in 2019. Last year, this figure was $1.2 billion, which means that tourism revenues will recover by 38% in 2021. At the beginning of October, the government of Georgia published forecasts, according to which, tourism revenues should increase to $3 billion by the end of the year. In 2025, it will exceed $5 billion.
