According to exports, Peru is among the largest trading partners of Georgia in January-September 2022.
Georgia sold products worth of $118,025 million this year to the South American country, and worth of only 411,430 million last year. As a result, the increase amounted to 932.6%.
The list of products that Georgia exported to Peru is as follows:
1. Fertilizers, mineral or chemical, nitrogenous - $114.2 million
2. Fats, grease and their fractions of fish or marine mammals - $3,718 thousand
3. Thermally polished glass and glass with a matte or polished surface - $69.2 thousand
4. Personal belongings - GEL 500
It should be noted that Georgia has never exported such a volume of products to Peru in the history of trade relations. Georgia has been exporting its products to the country since 2012, although the highest figure of the amount so far was $14.5 million in 2020.
As for imports, products worth of only $303.2 thousand were imported from Peru into Georgia.
