
Georgia’s economic growth forecast for 2022 increases to 8.5% from the initial 6.0%.
According to the draft budget amendments submitted for approval by the government to the parliament of Georgia, the GDP deflator forecast is set at 10.5%. Accordingly, the indicator of the nominal gross domestic product was updated and its volume is determined in the amount of 72.2 billion GEL instead of the initially planned 64.8 billion GEL.
According to the draft budget submitted to the Parliament, the total figure of the state budget revenues for 2022 increases by 489.7 million GEL and amounts to 19,852.3 million GEL. The forecast of other incomes increases by 150.0 million GEL and is determined in the amount of 945.0 million GEL.
The indicators planned in the form of grants increase by 0.9 million GEL and are determined in the amount of 342.7 million GEL. The plan of receivables in the form of reduction (privatization) of non-financial assets is unchanged and amounts to 300.0 million GEL. The rate of decline in financial assets (repayment of loans) is also unchanged and amounts to 150.0 million GEL.
