Georgia’s annual inflation rate stands at 13.3%

As the National Statistics National Service (GeoStat) reported, the annual inflation rate stood at 13.33% in May.
The cost of vegetables, fruits, bread, coffee, tea, cocoa, fish, fruits, oil, natural juices and other food products increased, tobacco costs went up by 6.7%, grocery products and non-alcoholic beverages – by 0.8%. The price of milk, cheese and eggs decreased.
Prices in the transport sub-group went up by 20%, utility fees by 6.2%.
