
In the first quarter of 2025, Georgia's external trade remained concentrated among a few key partners, with the top ten countries accounting for 78.1% of total exports, the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GeoStat) reported.

During the same period, 73.2% of Georgia’s imports came from its top ten trading partners. Leading the list were:

🔹 Total Trade Turnover:
Overall, the top ten trading partners accounted for 70.0% of Georgia’s total external trade turnover. The highest volumes were recorded with:

🔹 Top Export Commodities:

Motor cars dominated exports, totaling USD 500.7 million, making up 35.7% of total exports.

Spirituous beverages followed at USD 54.7 million (3.9%)

Precious metal ores and concentrates ranked third with USD 53.0 million (3.8%)

Motor cars were also the leading import item, reaching USD 622.2 million, or 14.8% of all imports.
