The Public Services Development Agency (PSDA) plans to roll out new ID cards with an updated design starting this summer.

Rusudan Kokhodze, Chairman of the State Services Development Agency, stated that the new generation of ID documents will feature enhanced security measures, making them more resistant to counterfeiting.

"Citizens with valid ID cards and passports will not be required to replace them before their expiration date, and there are no plans to increase the cost," Kokhodze explained.
