Archil Kalandia, Georgia’s newly appointed ambassador to Turkey, formally presented his credentials to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during an official ceremony held at the presidential palace on May 1, 2025.

Following the ceremony, Ambassador Kalandia and President Erdogan held private discussions focused on deepening the strategic partnership between Georgia and Turkey, according to a statement from Georgia’s Foreign Ministry.

President Erdogan extended his best wishes to Ambassador Kalandia for success in his diplomatic mission.
