Georgia’s newly appointed ambassador to Colombia, Zurab Mchedlishvili, officially presented his Letters of Credence to Colombian President Gustavo Petro, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Following the ceremony, the two sides held a meeting to review the current state of bilateral relations and explore ways to enhance cooperation.
Ambassador Mchedlishvili expressed his commitment to boosting political dialogue, encouraging high-level exchanges, and expanding collaboration in areas such as the economy and culture. He also thanked Colombia for its continued support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
