
According to GeoStat, Georgia’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) fell by 0.2% in July 2025 compared to the previous month, while the annual inflation rate stood at 4.3%.
Core inflation rose by 2.4% year-on-year, and by 2.2% excluding tobacco products.
The monthly decline in inflation was primarily driven by the following groups:

Clothing and Footwear: Prices dropped 4.1%, contributing -0.19 percentage points to the overall monthly inflation. Clothing prices fell 5.2%, and footwear declined by 1.6%.

Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages: Prices decreased 0.4%, contributing -0.14 percentage points. Notable drops were seen in:

Meanwhile, prices increased for:
