Georgia’s HICP Shows 4.9% Inflation in November 2025

Since 2022, Georgia’s National Statistics Office (GeoStat) has published the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), a measure aligned with EU standards.
Using this method, inflation in November 2025 reached 4.9%, slightly higher than the 4.8% calculated using Georgia’s national method.
HICP data shows the following annual changes compared to November 2024:
Food and non-alcoholic beverages: +9.2%
Alcoholic beverages and tobacco: +4.2%
Clothing and footwear: -0.1%
Housing and utilities: +0.4%
Furniture and household goods: -1.0%
Healthcare: +8.1%
Transport: +0.3%
Communication: -2.6%
Recreation and culture: -0.4%
Education: +2.2%
Hotels, cafes, and restaurants: +6.3%
Miscellaneous goods and services: +8.0%
