According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GeoStat), the country’s foreign goods trade (excluding undeclared trade) reached USD 18.55 billion from January to September 2025, marking a 9.1% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

Exports totaled USD 5.15 billion, up 7.7% year-on-year, while imports rose by 9.7%, amounting to USD 13.39 billion.

As a result, Georgia recorded a trade deficit of USD 8.24 billion for the nine-month period—accounting for 44.4% of total trade turnover.
