Georgia's external merchandise trade (excluding non-declared trade) totaled USD 9,790.9 million from January to May 2025, reflecting a 13.3% increase compared to the same period last year.

Exports rose by 14.6%, reaching USD 2,595.3 million, while imports grew by 12.8%, amounting to USD 7,195.6 million.

The trade deficit stood at USD 4,600.3 million, accounting for 47.0% of the total trade turnover.

These figures indicate continued momentum in Georgia’s foreign trade sector, with both exports and imports experiencing double-digit growth.
