
According to the National Statistics Service (GeoStat), Georgia exported goods worth USD 4.45 billion (excluding undeclared exports) between January and August 2025 — a 6.7% increase compared to the same period last year.
Domestic exports (excluding re-exports) made up 45.3% of total exports, reaching USD 2.01 billion — a 3.1% year-on-year rise.
GeoStat reports that 71.1% of Georgia’s domestic exports went to its top ten trading partners. The leading export destinations during this period were:
Russia – USD 450.1 million
Turkey – USD 185.6 million
China – USD 177.9 million
Among the top export products, precious metal ores and concentrates led the list with USD 239.1 million, making up 11.9% of all domestic exports. This was followed by natural grape wines (USD 164.9 million) and other alcoholic beverages (USD 142.1 million).
