
Georgia’s Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Davit Songulashvili, took part in the international conference Agriculture: Mobilizing Countries for Nature during his official visit to Azerbaijan.
The Ministry reported that Minister Songulashvili participated in a panel discussion titled The World and Baku after COP29: Achievements, Prospects, and Opportunities in the Field of Climate Change. In his remarks, he underscored the global urgency of addressing climate change and stressed the vital contribution of the agricultural sector to this effort.
The conference convened high-level representatives from multiple countries with the aim of advancing nature-based agricultural practices, promoting climate resilience in farming, and enhancing international collaboration to tackle climate-related challenges.
