Georgia’s economy grew 7.6% from January to October, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced at today’s government session, signaling that the country is likely to exceed the IMF’s forecast of 7.2% for the year.

The Prime Minister highlighted that Georgia’s GDP will surpass GEL 100 billion, and nominal GDP per capita will exceed USD 10,000 for the first time in history. In terms of purchasing power parity, GDP per capita will reach over USD 30,000, up from just USD 10,000 eight years ago.

“Strong growth is being seen across all sectors. We will continue to support this trend and maintain high economic growth,” Kobakhidze said.
