Georgia's economic growth is currently twice as high as that of EU candidate countries, according to Deputy Minister of Economy Vakhtang Tsintsadze.

He highlighted that the country’s average growth reached 8% in the first seven months of 2025, placing Georgia among the fastest-growing economies in Europe and Asia.

The IMF has revised Georgia’s 2025 growth forecast from 6% to 7.2%, with the country expected to lead in regional and EU-related growth through 2030.

Tsintsadze attributed this success to the government's consistent economic policies, infrastructure development, SME support, and ongoing structural reforms.
